Reaching For Normal Page 22
As usual, Sawyer didn't miss a thing. With both hands, he tilted her head up, then ran his fingers over her lips. "You're okay?”
She nodded and swallowed hard. "I didn't think I'd ever be whole enough to find someone to love me." Her voice was shaky, so she swallowed again.
"You've always been whole, Myla. You just didn't believe it."
Was that true?
Maybe.
"I won't hold you back Myla." His serious eyes bored into her. "We can go on those adventures of yours together. We'll figure out how to make it all work."
She believed him and for the first time, Myla was able to envision a life beyond her writing. A life filled with love. And Sawyer.

It does take a village!
This book has been a long time coming. It began as a angsty, over-written draft way back in the AQC days where I was lucky enough to wind up in a critique group with Jean Oram and Cali MacKay - smart, determined ladies who also happen to be incredible writers.
Another huge thank you to JR Yates & Brighton Walsh for their help and advice through #PitchWars - an incredible event started by the amazing Brenda Drake. Their insights into strengthening the plot and actual plotting (*shudder*) were invaluable.
I’d like to thank my Beta Readers: Renée, Stepiphanie, Krissy, and Anna. Yours insights made the story so much stronger.
Any errors are all mine. Kudos to those typos that made it through all the editing rounds.
Thanks to JB, my cover designer extraordinaire who lets me learn and help while she creates the magic.
Don't miss out!
